The most frequent question – what is your favourite country? Having travelled to 49 countries so far it’s difficult to pick just one … but my all time top 3 would have to be: Finland, Kenya and Italy. All beautiful in such contrasting ways and all my favourite for such varied reasons.

Where is your favourite place?
Rovaniemi, Finland for Christmas! It’s a magical experience that can’t be topped when you have kids under 12 years old!
How do you come up with itineraries?
Research. Most of the time I use travel company itineraries to guide me if it’s somewhere new. Next it’s all about how long we have and what there is to do in each destination.
Where next?
We are travelling to Oman, Morocco, Portugal and Spain in December / January.
Most luxurious place?
Easy! The Maldives! We went on our honeymoon and we’re heading back again In July with the kids this time! We’re visiting a different island this time though.
